Die Lokomotiven wurden aus den Regelspurloks der BR 110 fÃ¼r die Harzer Schmalspur Bahnen entwickelt und umgebaut. Sie erhielten dreiachsige Drehgestelle und drei dieser Loks sind auch heute noch bei der HSB im Einsatz.

Fourth Piko Large Scale model of a narrow-gauge prototype.
These locomotives were based on the standard gauge BR 110 diesels that were modified and also equipped with three-axle trucks (bogies). Three of those locomotives are still in service at the HSB today.
