Rogers Dampflokomotive der Pennsylvania Railroad

Vorbild:
Diese Rogers "2-4-2" Lokomotive ist einer Lok nachgeahmt die von Rogers Locomotive Works in USA noch vor der Jahrhundertwende gebaut wurde. Diese Lok war eine der ersten die auf den erhÃ¶hten Bahntrassen von New York City eingesetzt wurde. Rogers Locomotive Works existierte als separate Firma bis zum Jahre 1905, wurde dann Teil des amerikanischen Lokomotivenherstellers "Alco".

Die Rogers "2-4-2" ist die erste Lokomotive, die von Aristo-Craft hergestellt wurde.

Rogers Steam Locomotive of the Pennsylvania Railroad

Prototype:
This Rogers 2-4-2 Locomotive is patterned after a steam engine constructed by the Rogers Locomotive Works prior to the turn of the century. The Rogers 2-4-2 holds the distinction of being one of the first engines to run on the New York City elevated lines. Rogers Locomotive Works was in operation until the year 1905 when it became part of the American Loco Co "ALCO".

Model:
The Rogers 2-4-2 is the first locomotive to be produced by Aristo-Craft.
It is modeled after a modernized 2-4-2 Rogers loco and features:

- Operating front, interior and classification lights
- Front/Rear Operating AAR Knuckle Couplers
- Interior cab detail
- Solid-state can motor w/constant electrical pickup
- Fully sprung trucks
- Solid brass grab railings
- Realistic painting & authentic detailing
