Drei-teiliger Triebwagen der Deutschen Bundesbahn in der Epoche III Ausführung, zwei angetriebene Triebköpfe und ein Abteilwagen bilden die Grundeinheit die mit den Ergänzungen Piko 37640 Abteilwagen (mit anderer Betriebsnummer) und Piko 37641 Speisewagen erweitert werden kann, stromführende Spezialkupplungen, Lichtwechsel weiß/rot, der Zug kann mit Digital- und Sound-decoder und Innenbeleuchtung nachgerüstet werden, der Triebwagen hat verchromte und kugelgelagerte Radsätze

Three-section DB (German Federal Railroad) rail car in the era III version, two powered units and a compartment car form the basic unit which can be expanded with the additions of a Piko 37640 compartment car (with another running number) and a Piko 37641 dining car, power-carrying special couplings, headlights change with the direction of travel white/red; the unit can be easily retrofitted with a digital and sound decoder as well as interior lighting, the rail car chrome-plated, ball-bearing wheel sets.

• Four powered axles
• Powered axles equipped with ball-bearings
• Power pick-up on all wheels of the power units
• In addition, power pick-up via four spring-loaded sliding shoes
• Four weights installed for additional traction
• Three LED headlight front and rear, changing white/red with the direction of travel
• Easily retrofitted with a motor/sound decoder; top access
• Speaker compartment
• 12-pin power carrying special connector between cars
• Detailed housing with many prototypical engravings
• Separately inserted front and side windows
• Separately attached wipers and handrails
