Description: Der Chur-Arosa-Express der RhB führt am Zugende einen Steuerwagen, so daß der Zug ohne aufwendige Rangiermanöver in beide Richtungen verkehren kann. Das vorbildgetreue LGB-Modell verfügt über Führerstand und fahrtrichtungsabhängigen Lichtwechsel sowie kugelgelagerte Metallräder zur Stromversorgung.
Vorbild
Einige Züge der Rhätischen Bahn führen an einem Ende einen Steuerwagen. Der Steuerwagen ist mit einem Führerstand und Bedienpult ausgerüstet, über die die Lokomotive am anderen Ende des Zuges gesteuert werden kann. So kann der Zug ohne aufwendige Rangiermanöver in beide Richtungen verkehren.

The RhB Chur-Arosa Express uses a control car at the end, making bi-directional running easy without complex switching. The prototypical LGB model features a detailed cab and directional lighting, as well as ball bearing wheel sets with power pickups.
The Prototype
On some trains, the Rhätische Bahn uses a conventional loco at one end of the train and a control car at the other end. The control car includes an engineer’s cab with controls linked to the loco, making bi-directional operation possible without the time and cost of moving the loco.
