Amtrak hatte bei der Übernahme des Personenverkehrs von der Penn Central 30 GG1 übernommen. Einige davon wurden ab 1975 in den als „Phase I“ bezeichneten Farben lackiert. Das LGB/Aster-Handarbeitsmodell gibt die so lackierte Amtrak 927 authentisch wieder. Natürlich dürfen Sie von diesem Spitzenmodell auch die gewohnte LGB-Qualität und die modernste technische Ausstattung erwarten. MZS-Decoder onboard, Sound, Lichtwechsel und Antrieb durch zwei starke Bühlermotoren sind selbstverständlich. Limitiert auf nur 79 Stück.
Modell
Diese Limited Edition-Lokomotive wird bei der bekannten Modell-Manufaktur Aster Hobby (Japan) für Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk gefertigt. Besondere Merkmale dieser LGB/Aster-Lokomotive sind:

- komplette Inneneinrichtung der Führerstände mit vorbildgetreuen Handrädern und Hebeln sowie beleuchteten Armaturen

When Amtrak assumed the passenger duties of the old Penn Central railroad, it also received 30 of the railroad's GG1 locos. In 1975, Amtrak began repainting some of those in its “Phase I” livery, and this LGB/Aster model is a replica of Amtrak loco 927 in those colors. Naturally, this handcrafted model offers both LGB quality and LGB technology, like an onboard MTS decoder, digital sound, directional lighting and powerful, twin Bühler motors. Production limited to 79 pieces.

This special Limited Edition model has been crafted for Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk by Aster Hobby, one of the world's foremost makers of metal model trains. This detailed LGB/Aster replica features:
