LGB Aluminium Schienen sind aus spezial Hartaluminium Legierung gezogen und verchromt. Die Schienenverbinder bestehen aus rostfreiem Chrom-Nickelstahl (V2a) und die Schwellenbetten aus VESTOLEN.
Diese Gleise sind fÃ¼r Innenanlagen bestimmt und nur fÃ¼r kurzfristigen Freiland-Betrieb geeignet. Im Freien dÃ¼rfen sie nur bei Temperaturen Ã¼ber 5 Grad C (41 Grad Fahrenheit) verwendet werden.
FÃ¼r Dauerbetrieb im Freiland nimmt man das Gleismaterial 1000W - 1210W mit Messing-Vollprofilen.
Aluminium Schienen gab es als:
LGB 1000 - 300mm gerades Gleis
LGB 1060 - 600mm gerades Gleis
LGB 1100 - 30 Grad gebogenes Gleis

LGB aluminum rails are drawn from special hardened aluminum alloy and chrome plated. The track connectors are manufactured of stainless chromium-nickel steel (V2A) and the ties (sleepers) are made of VESTOLEN.
This track is designed for indoor use or for short-term use outdoors. If used outside, this track can only be used at temperatures above 5 degrees C (41 degrees Fahrenheit).
For permanent outdoor use, track material 1000W - 1210W must be used - these rail profiles are solid brass and fully weather resistant.
Aluminum track was available as:
LGB 1000 - 300mm straight track
LGB 1060 - 600mm straight track
LGB 1100 - 30 degree curved track
