Description: Um die Zugkraft der F7-A zu erhöhen, entwickelte EMD eine Diesellok ohne Führerstand. Diese "B-Unit" wurde an eine oder mehrere F7-A Lokomotiven gekuppelt, die dann alle von einem Lokführer bedient wurden.
Das Modell der F7-B ist mit dem vielgelobten LGB-Sound ausgestattet. Sie hören den stufenweise synchronisierten Dieselmotor, Glocke, Horn und das Geräusch der Bremsen. Weitere Geräusche können mit dem Mehrzugsystem ausgelöst werden. Das antriebslose Modell ist nur zur Verwendung zusammen mit LGB F7-A-Modellen geeignet.

Vorbild
Um die Zugkraft der bewährten F7-A-Lokomotiven zu erhöhen, entwickelte die General Motors Electro Motive Division (EMD) eine F7-Diesellok ohne Führerhaus. Diese “B-Unit” konnte an eine oder mehrere F7-A-Loks gekuppelt werden. Alle Loks konnten dann von einem Lokführer im Führerhaus der “A-Unit” bedient werden.

Modell
Dieses antriebslose Modell einer F7-B-Diesellok ist zur Verwendung mit den F7-A-Modellen von LGB vorgesehen. Besondere Merkmale der “B-Unit”:

- vorbildgetreue Lackierung und Beschriftung
- Handläufe aus Messing
- digitaler elektronischer Sound
- "EntlĂĽften" der Zylinder
- stufenweise synchronisiertes Diesellok-Fahrgeräusch
- Signalhorn (vor der Abfahrt, an Bahnübergängen)
- Glocke (vor der Abfahrt, an Bahnübergängen)
- "High Ball" Ansage (mit Mehrzugsystem)
- Alarmglocke im FĂĽhrerhaus (mit Mehrzugsystem)
- Bremsgeräusche (Bremsen anlegen, Bremse entlüften)
- magnetgesteuerte Auslösung von Signalhorn und Glocke
- Standgeräusch im Leerlauf (bis zu 30 Sekunden)
- eingebauter Lautsprecher
- zuverlässige Mehrzweck-Steckdose für Flachstecker



To add to the tractive power of the F7-A, EMD designed a supplementary diesel locomotive without a cab. This "B-unit" could be coupled to one or more F7-A locomotives and controlled by a single engineer in the cab of the "A-unit." The LGB F7-B is equipped with LGB´s acclaimed digital sound system. Sound effects include "notch" synchronized diesel motor, bell, horn and brakes. Additional sounds are accessible using the LGB Multi-Train System. This unpowered model is made for use only with LGB F7-A models.


The Prototype
To increase the pulling power of its popular F7-A locomotive, General Motors' Electro Motive Division (EMD) designed a matching diesel locomotive without a cab. This "B-unit" could be coupled to one or more F7-A locomotives and controlled by a single engineer in the cab of the "A-unit."
