Vorbild
Als Ersatz fÃ¼r die betagten Dampfloks auf den Schmalspur-Nebenstrecken beschaffte die DB fÃ¼nf moderne dieselhydraulische Lokomotiven. Unter der langen Haube befinden sich zwei 200 KW (270 PS) starke Dieselmotoren, wÃ¤hrend die kurze Haube den Luftkompressor, den DruckluftbehÃ¤lter und die Treibstofftanks verbirgt. Die Loks leisteten bis zur Einstellung des Verkehrs gute Dienste auf ihren Strecken in SÃ¼dwestdeutschland. Heute fÃ¤hrt eine der Loks bei den RÃ¼genschen Kleinbahnen.
Dies ist die erste Version dieses Modells mit Schlitzschrauben und Halbschalengetriebe sowie roten Radscheiben.

Prototype:
The Deutsche Bundesbahn (German Federal Railway) ordered five modern diesel hydraulic locomotives to replace the aging steam locomotives on their narrow gauge lines. The long section contains two 270 HP diesel motors while the short section covers the air compressor, compressed air tanks and fuel tanks. These locomotives were used extensively in the south-western part of Germany until those rail lines were finally closed. One of these engines is currently in service at the RÃ¼gen narrow gauge line.
This is the first version of this model with slotted screws and early motor block as well as red disk drive wheels.
