Vorbild
Prototype:
The Deutsche Bundesbahn (German Federal Railway) ordered five modern diesel hydraulic locomotives to replace the aging steam locomotives on their narrow gauge lines. The long section contains two 270 HP diesel motors while the short section covers the air compressor, compressed air tanks and fuel tanks. These locomotives were used extensively in the south-western part of Germany until those rail lines were finally closed. One of these engines is currently in service at the Rügen narrow gauge line.
This is the first version of this model with slotted screws and early motor block as well as red disk drive wheels.
