Prototype:
Wismar rail bus, Type "Friesland".
In addition to the "Hannover" type rail busses with their projecting snouts, the wagon manufacturer Wismar also delivered rail busses of the "Friesland" type. These were the originals for our model. This vehicle illustrates the typical internal combustion engine rai! bus design of the 30's. This type of rai! bus was often used to pull freight trains.

Model:
This model has an electric motor which is mounted under the floor and which drives the axles via universally-jointed shafts. Normal LGB couplings at both ends. Signal lights which change from three white lights to two red ones depending upon the direction of travel. Internal illuminated passenger compartment and driver's cab. The seated driver and conductress figures which are both fitted with magnetic bases to allow movement in accordance with the direction of travel. The removable roof allows insertion of the passengers. Under the vehicle there is a slider switch for driving with lights, parking with lights and everything off. Lighting sockets for double traction with two rai! busses via enclosed connecting lead.
